I’m a crowdfunded independent researcher and engineer, member of the Dat Ecosystem Consortium and the European Secure Scuttlebutt Consortium. Among other roles, I am also the current editor of the Secure Scuttlebutt Consortium’s newsletter and one of the main developers behind Cabal, a peer-to-peer group chat I took the initiative on in April 2018.
During 2019-2020, I researched and proposed a subjective moderation system, TrustNet, for my Master’s thesis.
My current focus is on combining usability with peer-to-peer applications and ideas. The intent of that work is to create easy-to-use, sustainable infrastructure + tools for people and their communities.
Being an independent researcher means relying on independent sources of funding. If you like or use my work, you can join others and help fund more:
Every donation helps secure more time and space for bringing new projects & ideas into the world—thank you!
